This day may not mean much in heaven, but it still means plenty to me.  I’m so grateful that on September 24, 1943 Georgia Beth Ray was born.  From what I can tell about her childhood and younger years in addition to the ones I “had” her, she was always full of spunk and sass.  She was a great mama and I miss her terribly.

I can’t believe she would have been 70 this year.  She would have made it looks especially fabulous in her spectacular way.

I miss her laugh and her smile.

I miss her spunk and sass.

I miss her support and love.

Happy earthly birthday, Mom, from this daughter that misses everything about you, everything about having a mama, and everything you mean.

Off to make oatmeal raisin cookies in your honor!

Last year’s letter to my mom because it all still holds true
